The Couple Retreat Experience

Haven Rest Retreats are designed as immersive, high-level experiences for couples who want to step out of their daily environment and reconnect with intention. Each retreat unfolds over seven days, from Sunday to Saturday, in carefully selected private residences — places chosen not only for their beauty, but for the atmosphere they create. This is more than a holiday. It is a space to pause, to realign, and to experience your relationship differently.

Arrival & Opening

The retreat begins with a soft arrival. You enter the space, settle into the residence, and meet the professionals who will accompany you throughout the week. From the very first moments, the intention is clear: to create a safe, structured, and grounded environment where you can begin to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with each other, without pressure.

A Structured, Living Rhythm

From Monday to Friday, each day follows a carefully designed rhythm — structured enough to guide you, yet flexible enough to respect your pace. Mornings begin with body-based practices. Across the week, these include:

  • Yoga and mindful movement,

  • Dance-based connection sessions,

  • Couple stretching practices,

  • Tai Chi and Qi Gong.

These moments are not only physical — they are designed to reconnect you to your body, regulate your nervous system, and open space for emotional work. They are followed by breakfast and a guided group session.

Deep Relational Work

This is where the core of the experience takes place. Throughout the week, you are guided through:

  • Group therapy sessions led by a psychotherapist

  • Structured couple exercises designed to reveal patterns and deepen connection

  • Practices such as eye contact work, guided touch, and visualization

These are not surface-level activities. They are designed to create moments of awareness, sometimes intense, often transformative — always held within a safe and confidential framework.

Professional Guidance

You are accompanied throughout the retreat by a psychotherapist and a coach, working together in a complementary way. Their role is not to impose, but to guide, support, and adapt to what emerges. They hold the structure of the experience, ensure emotional safety, and remain available when deeper support is needed. Alongside them, additional professionals contribute to the experience:

  • A yoga instructor,

  • A sophrologist,

  • Body-based facilitators.

This combination allows the retreat to address both emotional depth and physical regulation.

Space, Integration & Real Life

Not every moment is guided — and this is intentional. Afternoons create space. Some days include couple-focused activities or shared experiences. Others are left open for rest, private conversations, or simply being together without interruption. This is where integration happens — quietly, naturally.

Evening Connection

As the day slows down, the focus shifts.

You are guided through practices such as:

  • Gratitude circles,

  • Eye contact and presence exercises,

  • Relational experiences that deepen emotional closeness.

These moments often become the most powerful of the retreat — simple, yet deeply impactful. They are followed by dinner and a calm, open atmosphere where you are free to continue sharing or to rest.

Closing & Departure

The retreat closes gently on Saturday morning. A final moment allows you to integrate what has been experienced — not as an ending, but as a transition. You leave with more clarity, more awareness, and a different way of being together.

• Dedicated personal time throughout the retreat, allowing rest, integration, and space
